Launch Your Aura Journey: From First Vote to First Match

Gen Z Dating Culture 5 min read

Step-by-step Aura Sygn path: pick your city and get started, play three game loops, unlock inbox after enough shared play, and start chatting with icebreakers from shared votes.

Launch Your Aura Journey: From First Vote to First Match

Step 1 — Build your aura profile

Sign in with Google, pick your city, set your aesthetic matrix, and add photos. The visual matrix is not decoration — it helps personalize Discover and compatibility breakdowns on match cards.

Step 2 — Play your first games

Home recommends your next game via Play next. Start with Vibe Drop (three quick votes), then try Aura Court or Flag Radar. Each vote earns Aura Points and trains your taste vector. The progress ring on Home shows your progress on Home.

Step 3 — Open Connect

After early votes you unlock match suggestions. Like people from Matches or browse Discover. Check Into You for users who liked you first. Tap a card to flip it and see why you match — vibe overlap, city, aesthetic alignment, and shared game signals.

Step 4 — Open Inbox after shared play

Inbox opens once you have played together and built enough context for real conversation — with icebreakers drawn from shared votes.

Step 5 — Chat with context

Messages sync over REST with local cache. Suggested reply chips pull from your shared game history. Read receipts and typing indicators keep threads warm. Push notifications bring you back when the app is closed.

Step 6 — Return daily

Open Aura Daily for your stats snapshot and export a story card. Keep your play streak alive and finish daily quests for play rewards. Pull-to-refresh on Home summarizes what changed since your last visit.

What's live today

Discover feeds, compatibility score breakdowns, inbox chat with read receipts, push alerts, play streaks, daily quests, Into You, Aura Daily, and automated moderation are all live — available in the app today.
