By accessing, installing, registering for, or using Aura Sygn, you confirm that you are located in India, are legally permitted to use the service, and consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure, transfer, monitoring, moderation, automated processing, and AI-assisted processing of your information as described in this policy and the Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
This policy is intended to describe our practices and limit Aura Sygn's responsibility to the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law. Nothing in this policy excludes rights, remedies, duties, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Aura Sygn is designed, operated, and offered for access and use only within India. We do not target, invite, or knowingly provide the service to persons located outside India, including residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, United States, or any other foreign jurisdiction.
If you access Aura Sygn from outside India, you do so without authorisation and at your own risk. You are responsible for compliance with any law that may apply to you. We may block, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we believe a user is outside India, is using a VPN or proxy to bypass regional restrictions, or may expose Aura Sygn to non-Indian legal obligations.
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect or receive the following categories of information:
By using Aura Sygn, you give us permission to process your personal data for providing, securing, improving, supporting, monetising, monitoring, and enforcing the service. Where consent is required, your use, account creation, profile submission, upload, opt-in, device permission, or continued access after notice may be treated as consent to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You must provide accurate information and must not submit personal data about another person unless you have a lawful right and permission to do so. You are responsible for the content you upload, publish, transmit, or share.
Aura Sygn may use automated systems and AI-assisted tools to build, run, monitor, secure, analyse, moderate, recommend, support, and improve the app. This may include profile quality checks, image and text moderation, spam detection, fraud review, ranking, matching signals, safety prompts, customer support triage, analytics, software development assistance, incident response, and operational monitoring.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in a separate signed agreement, you grant Aura Sygn permission to process user content, metadata, and derived signals using internal tools, third-party tools, cloud services, AI systems, automated classifiers, and review or moderation resources for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell, rent, license, disclose, or otherwise provide your personal data to any person or third party in exchange for money, consideration, or other commercial value. We may use aggregated, anonymised, pseudonymised, de-identified, or statistical information for analytics, reporting, product development, business planning, investor/partner reporting, and safety improvement where such information is not intended to identify you.
Automated systems may make or assist decisions about visibility, recommendations, moderation, account restrictions, safety prompts, abuse detection, and entitlement checks. These systems can be imperfect. We may review, reverse, or maintain automated outcomes at our discretion and as required by law.
We may share information with affiliates, employees, contractors, processors, cloud hosts, analytics providers, crash reporting providers, moderation tools, AI service providers, security vendors, payment processors, app stores, notification providers, legal and professional advisors, business-transfer participants, and authorities only where legally required, authorised by you, or reasonably necessary to provide, operate, host, secure, review, moderate, support, improve, enforce, or protect the intended service.
Third-party access to personal data is limited to service-related purposes such as infrastructure hosting, authentication, storage, delivery, payments, subscriptions, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, security, fraud prevention, review, moderation, support, legal compliance, professional advice, and dispute handling. We do not authorise third parties to use personal data received from Aura Sygn for their own independent sale of data or unrelated commercial purposes, except where you separately interact with that third party or applicable law permits or requires disclosure.
We may disclose information to protect users, Aura Sygn, the public, or third parties; enforce our terms; investigate suspected violations; respond to legal process; preserve evidence; prevent harm; or comply with applicable law. We may also share information when you choose to make content public, interact with another user, join squads, send messages, participate in games, or otherwise use social features.
We aim to use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the service, such as access controls, authentication, logging, backups, encryption where practical, secure development practices, monitoring, and vendor controls. No internet service, mobile app, cloud platform, AI system, or transmission method is completely secure. You use Aura Sygn at your own risk and are responsible for securing your device, login credentials, app-store account, email, and network connection.
We design our privacy practices with reference to applicable Indian requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules as they come into force, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable intermediary, cybersecurity, and reasonable security practice requirements. We may update this policy as the regulatory position changes.
Aura Sygn is restricted to India and is not intended for users located in the EU, EEA, UK, or any other jurisdiction outside India. We do not represent that the service is offered in, compliant with, or suitable for the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, HIPAA, or any other foreign privacy, consumer, sectoral, or data-transfer regime. Any access from outside India is unauthorised and at the user's sole risk.
If a foreign law is alleged to apply despite this India-only restriction, our position is that the service was not directed to that jurisdiction and that any processing is incidental to unauthorised access, contractual breach, or user misrepresentation. We reserve all rights, objections, defences, immunities, and jurisdictional challenges available under law.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, safety, moderation, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, analytics, backups, dispute handling, and legitimate business needs. Some information may remain in backups, logs, fraud records, legal holds, moderation archives, or records required by law even after account deletion or content removal.
You may use available app settings and device controls to update profile information, manage permissions, unsubscribe from optional communications, or request account-related action. We may require verification before acting on a request, may reject fraudulent or abusive requests, and may retain information where legally permitted or required.
You may request deletion of all personal data associated with your account at any point of time by using the in-app account deletion flow where available or by contacting the support or grievance channel made available in the app or website. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymise personal data that we are not legally required or permitted to retain, subject to reasonable processing time and limitations for backups, logs, fraud prevention, security records, legal holds, moderation evidence, accounting records, dispute files, and records required by applicable law.
Requests may include access, correction, deletion, grievance redressal, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion where these rights apply under Indian law. Withdrawal of consent may limit or disable the service because the app needs certain data to function.
Aura Sygn is not for children. You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under Indian law. We may suspend, restrict, or delete accounts if we suspect a user is underage or has provided false age information.
Dating and social features involve user-generated content. Other users may view, save, copy, screenshot, misuse, or redistribute information that you share. Do not share sensitive, confidential, financial, identity, intimate, or safety-critical information unless you accept the risk. Aura Sygn is not responsible for user conduct, offline meetings, third-party actions, or content shared by users, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law.
We may modify this policy from time to time. Changes may be posted on the website, in the app, through release notes, by email, or through other reasonable notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aura Sygn, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, licensors, and service providers disclaim all warranties and liability arising from privacy incidents, security incidents, data loss, unauthorised access, third-party services, user conduct, AI or automated processing, moderation errors, recommendations, outages, bugs, data inaccuracies, or use outside India. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the narrowest extent and lowest amount permitted by applicable Indian law.
For privacy, safety, or grievance requests, contact Aura Sygn through the support or grievance channel made available in the app or website. Include your account identifier, the issue, and enough information for us to verify and investigate the request.
