Aura Sygn is a social and dating app for adults aged 18 and over in India. We take child safety seriously and maintain zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any conduct that endangers children.
These published standards describe how Aura Sygn complies with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable child protection laws.
Aura Sygn explicitly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Users, content, and conduct on Aura Sygn must not involve, promote, facilitate, solicit, distribute, or normalise:
These prohibitions apply to all features of Aura Sygn, including profiles, photos, messages, posts, games, squads, plans, and any other user-generated or shared content. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, preservation of evidence, and referral to law enforcement or relevant authorities.
Aura Sygn is not intended for children. Users must be at least 18 years old. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors or providing false age information may be restricted or removed.
Aura Sygn provides in-app tools for users to report safety concerns, abusive behaviour, policy violations, and suspected CSAE or CSAM. Users can:
Reports are reviewed using a combination of automated systems, human moderation, and escalation workflows. We may request additional information, preserve records, restrict accounts, remove content, and take further action as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or suspected CSAE on Aura Sygn, we take appropriate action without undue delay, including:
We use automated detection, hash-matching or equivalent safeguards where available, community reports, internal review, and abuse signals to identify and respond to CSAM and CSAE risks. No moderation system is perfect; users should report concerns promptly.
Aura Sygn is operated for users in India and is designed to comply with applicable Indian child protection and intermediary obligations, including requirements under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, and other relevant laws concerning CSAM, CSAE, and online safety.
Where we obtain actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM, we maintain a process to report it to the appropriate authority, which may include the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where applicable, Indian law-enforcement channels, or other relevant regional bodies as required by law and the nature of the incident.
We may also respond to lawful government directions, court orders, cybercrime reporting requirements, and valid legal process relating to child safety matters.
Our child safety enforcement procedures include:
