Aura Sygn child safety standards

Effective date: 8 June 2026. Published standards for Aura Sygn on Google Play.

CSAE prohibition Report concerns CSAM response Legal compliance Point of contact
Our commitment.

Aura Sygn is a social and dating app for adults aged 18 and over in India. We take child safety seriously and maintain zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any conduct that endangers children.

These published standards describe how Aura Sygn complies with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable child protection laws.

1. Published standards against CSAE

Aura Sygn explicitly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Users, content, and conduct on Aura Sygn must not involve, promote, facilitate, solicit, distribute, or normalise:

  • sexual contact with or sexualisation of minors, including fictional or AI-generated depictions presented as minors;
  • grooming, enticement, trafficking, or exploitation of children;
  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, videos, text, links, or metadata;
  • misrepresentation of age to access the service, contact minors, or evade safety controls;
  • sharing, requesting, or distributing a minor's personal, intimate, or identifying information without lawful authority;
  • using Aura Sygn to arrange offline contact with minors for sexual or exploitative purposes; or
  • any other conduct that endangers, harms, or sexualises children.

These prohibitions apply to all features of Aura Sygn, including profiles, photos, messages, posts, games, squads, plans, and any other user-generated or shared content. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, preservation of evidence, and referral to law enforcement or relevant authorities.

Aura Sygn is not intended for children. Users must be at least 18 years old. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors or providing false age information may be restricted or removed.

2. In-app mechanism for user feedback and reports

Aura Sygn provides in-app tools for users to report safety concerns, abusive behaviour, policy violations, and suspected CSAE or CSAM. Users can:

  • report profiles, messages, photos, and other content through report actions available in Connect, Inbox, and related surfaces;
  • block other users to stop further contact;
  • submit account deletion or grievance requests through in-app settings and support flows; and
  • contact Aura Sygn directly using the channels described in section 5.

Reports are reviewed using a combination of automated systems, human moderation, and escalation workflows. We may request additional information, preserve records, restrict accounts, remove content, and take further action as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

3. Addressing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or suspected CSAE on Aura Sygn, we take appropriate action without undue delay, including:

  • removing or disabling access to the reported content;
  • suspending or terminating accounts involved in the violation;
  • preserving relevant records, logs, and metadata for investigation, legal compliance, and evidence handling;
  • escalating confirmed or strongly suspected CSAM to the appropriate regional authority or hotline, including where required under Indian law; and
  • cooperating with lawful requests from law enforcement, courts, regulators, and Google Play where permitted or required.

We use automated detection, hash-matching or equivalent safeguards where available, community reports, internal review, and abuse signals to identify and respond to CSAM and CSAE risks. No moderation system is perfect; users should report concerns promptly.

4. Compliance with child safety laws

Aura Sygn is operated for users in India and is designed to comply with applicable Indian child protection and intermediary obligations, including requirements under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, and other relevant laws concerning CSAM, CSAE, and online safety.

Where we obtain actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM, we maintain a process to report it to the appropriate authority, which may include the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where applicable, Indian law-enforcement channels, or other relevant regional bodies as required by law and the nature of the incident.

We may also respond to lawful government directions, court orders, cybercrime reporting requirements, and valid legal process relating to child safety matters.

5. Enforcement and review procedures

Our child safety enforcement procedures include:

  • age eligibility checks and restrictions for users under 18;
  • automated and human-assisted moderation of uploads, profiles, and reported content;
  • account restrictions, warnings, suspensions, and permanent bans for serious or repeated violations;
  • evidence preservation and escalation for suspected CSAE or CSAM;
  • periodic review of safety tooling, reporting flows, and policy compliance; and
  • coordination with Google Play and other platform partners on child safety notifications where required.

6. Child safety point of contact

Aura Sygn designates the following contact for child safety matters, CSAE enforcement questions, user complaints, grievances, and potential notifications from Google Play or other partners regarding child safety content found on Aura Sygn:

Email: [email protected]

This contact is authorised to receive reports, review enforcement procedures, coordinate takedowns and escalations, and respond to child safety notifications. When contacting us, include:

  • your relationship to the report (user, parent, guardian, authority, or partner);

  • the date and feature area involved; and
  • whether the matter appears to involve a minor, CSAM, grooming, or imminent harm.

For urgent matters involving immediate danger to a child, contact local emergency services first, then notify us at [email protected].

7. Related policies

These child safety standards should be read together with Aura Sygn's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Where a conflict exists regarding child safety, the stricter child-protection requirement applies.

8. Updates

We may update these standards from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or platform policy updates. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published.
